Expanding public access to research: top ten takeaways from the Nelson memo Online
On August 25, 2022 the White House Office of Science Technology Policy issued new guidance to federal research funders in a memo titled “Ensuring Free, Immediate, and Equitable Access to Federally Funded Research." Patti Condon, Research Data Services Librarian and Eleta Exline, Scholarly Communication Librarian will outline key points of the "Nelson memo" and its potential outcomes, including things for UNH Researchers and PIs to watch for over the next several years as new plans for sharing data and publications are implemented.
