Intro to ArcGIS Field Maps In-Person
These seminars will provide beginner users of GIS software with a broad introduction to ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Field Maps. Seminars will be held in the Geospatial Services Center in the Dimond Library every three weeks beginning on February 22nd and concluding on April 25th. Seminars are open to all members of the UNH community with a valid UNH login. Participants are required to register in advance on LibCal due to limited space. This seminar will introduce participants with basic familiarity with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro to the ArcGIS Field Maps application. It would be helpful for participants of this seminar to have participated in the previous “Intro to ArcGIS Online” seminar, but not required. We will discuss how to collect field data using ArcGIS Field Maps, and explore and analyze it using ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro. Topics covered during this seminar will include:
- Introduction to GPS and the ArcGIS Field Maps application
- Field data collection best practices
- Accessing and navigating field-collected data in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro
