Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon

Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon In-Person

In recognition of Women's History Month, join us in Dimond Library Room 352 and participate in a communal updating of Wikipedia entries. Help us improve coverage of cis and transgender women, non binary people, & feminism and the arts on Wikipedia,

No experience is needed. We'll provide training, reference materials, and snacks. Just bring your laptop!

More details on the day's schedule are coming soon.

Art+Feminism's main purpose is to improve content on cis and transgender women, feminism, and the arts on Wikipedia. Only about 17 percent of notable person profiles on Wikipedia are about women and only about 15 percent of editors on Wikipedia are female. More than 500 A+F edit-a-thons have been held since 2014.
